I have lived and worked in Vietnam since 2016.
My name is Egor Stepanov. Since 2016, I have lived and worked in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Before Vietnam, I lived and worked in Turkey, India and Thailand, mostly in tourism and international business environments. That period gave me early experience in working with people from different countries, cultures and expectations.
Over time, my work moved into export-import operations, shipment planning, paperwork, product directions and project decisions where details matter more than a first price.

My current work in Vietnam is with TNM Trading VN LLC, where I serve as Director and deal with manufacturers, product directions, shipment questions and export-import paperwork.
stepanov.uk is separate from that company structure. It is my personal website, where I publish articles, videos and notes under my own name.

Pricing reality
A low unit price is not enough. Country of origin, import duty, anti-dumping risk and freight can make a cheaper offer worse after landing.

Equipment terms
For equipment, I want the engineer cost, warranty, software, spare parts and test conditions clear before payment, not after the machine has shipped.

Product specification
For food products, one product name is never enough. Processing method, sugar level, shelf life, packing format and certification can describe completely different goods.
